New Post! Final Post!

Hello all! It has been a while since I have written or posted on this site. Wonder why? I'll tell you...

I've been working on a website of my own! (Check it out here!) It is still under construction, but it is what I will be using from now on to post things besides my Facebook page. Thank you all for your continued support and encouragement!

I bought a new lens a few weeks ago. It is a Nikor 85mm f/1.8. I have never worked with a fixed lens before, and one that was so advanced internally, so I have been winging it. I took individual portraits, and they turned out great, but I needed practice with a couple. I asked my friends, Tyler and Emily, to help me out for a little mini-session. They were so down with it, even though I was still exploring the location. We got some great shots right at the Golden Hour, and I think they turned out great. Thanks for being so patient with me! Wow. My first Christmas card shoot. Not only did these pictures turn out FANTASTIC, they are a of one of my favorite couples. Still so pumped for them starting their lives together and spending time in the Word together. They are truly amazing and I love them both so much. Enjoy!

Talk about a good sport. I love this girl so much. She is my guinea pig in locations, poses, and new equipment. She puts up with so much from me, and I learn through her. She is absolutely amazing, and not to mention completely gorgeous and in love with the Lord. Enjoy!

This is my gorgeous friend Kelly. She is a talented athlete and has such a heart for the Lord. She is hilarious and so much fun to be with. She FINALLY let me take practice shots of her because I am still getting used to my new camera body. She was a trooper, even ruined the shoes she was wearing. I love her. Enjoy!

This gorgeous child is one I see very often. She is the daughter of my Sunday school leaders. They are an amazing family and they love the Lord whole heartedly. Both of these things are amazing to see through them.
I was really honored when Sarah asked me to do Annalyse's 2 year old pictures. I jumped the gun and became trigger happy. We got to use some props and got Sarah in on some of them, and one of those being my favorite.
